Day three of “back to normal”. Adjusting to home life is a little overwhelming. Everyone wants me to carry on as usual and I find that to be hard. I have not hiked or even walked the dog in three days. I am giving my knees and feet a break. Wish it was more of a break but housework has had me running up and down stairs almost as much as on the trail. One level all cleaned. 2 more to go. Trying to plan my next hike. Won’t be as long as the AT. More like  day hikes for the future. I don’t really like carrying a 30 pound pack.
