What I learned the most on my get-away to the woods
was to appreciate the little things and to really be thankful for what I have and know I am truly blessed. I thought I did that before I went but after being out there I realized I needed work in that area. I just went to the grocery store for our weekend food stock up and I over heard a young man say to his mom, “If we were rich we could have these for our packed lunches”. He was pointing at the Lunchables. I was trying to get over my hissy-fit cuz the store didn’t have an it em
I needed. I got over that quickly. I will always strive to do my best and reach for higher goals and I love material things. But as I do that I hope I never lose my appreciation for what really matters.
